CURRENT STATUS
Build the evidence
before flight.
Plans, concepts, implementation, testing, approvals, and sales are not the same thing. We publish what exists today and what does not on the same page.
- Requirements in development
- No flight attempt yet
- No travel bookings or sales
NICOLAUS 1 · NEXT STEPS
Toward our first flight.
Start with how to verify it.
Our current focus is Nicolaus 1, our first planned uncrewed rocket. Its mission plan defines success through reaching at least 100 km, transmitting and storing data, an ocean splashdown, and finding and recovering the vehicle. The next work is to specify measurement methods and acceptance criteria, and establish the conditions for design, testing and independent review.
WHAT IS TRUE TODAY
No exaggeration about where we stand.
- Nicolaus or Kepler flight hardware
- Nicolaus-specific measured validation or a formal mission simulation
- Hardware integration or flight-performance models validated against measured data
- A dedicated factory, launch site, island, or recovery port
- Flight authorization, insurance, or an independent safety organization
- Flight Ready status or an in-orbit energy demonstration
- Space-travel reservations, sales, or operations
SAFETY GATES
Neither dates nor AI
can bypass a gate.
Combustion, high-pressure work, hazardous battery testing, real-vehicle manufacturing, and real-vehicle flight remain on Hold until qualified leaders, location, funding, legal conditions, approvals, and recovery systems are established.
Documents and plans exist. No gate passage has been declared.

HOW TO READ THIS SITE
How to read our status labels.
Decided
Adopted as an internal company direction. It does not mean regulatory or third-party approval, implementation, contract, authorization, sale, or demonstration.
Design target
A numerical or performance objective. It is not a guaranteed value before simulation, testing, and review.
Concept
A long-term direction. It does not establish technical feasibility or a commercial business.
OPEN
An unresolved item to be closed through later design, research, testing, or contracts.
Not implemented
The relevant function, hardware, or operation does not yet exist. Plans and design targets are identified separately.
Hold
No execution because required gates remain incomplete.
NEXT MEASURABLE WORK
Connect what we can do today
to future flight.
- 01Finalize Nicolaus 1 requirements and complete-success criteria
- 02Apply mission inputs to numerical experiments and record reproducible results
- 03Research and document the preliminary design and safety requirements
- 04Build and inspect a non-flying appearance model after review
- 05Document conditions for people, location, funding, approvals, insurance, and recovery
